I tried the mango passionfruit flavor, which I thought was quite a good strong flavor. One aspect I really like about this product is the breakdown of the different amino's in amino linx. A big plus is that is has the 2g of the glutamine as well which helps with my workouts and my recovery time! Would definitely reccommend for an effective amino product!
Bought Mango passion flavour and OMG!!! Best tasting BCAA intra i've had. I've just finished a tub of EHP labs beyond bcaa and Cellucor for bcaa and this is hands down the best tasting. Don't follow the instructions though, far too sweet, I add double the water. Mixes perfectly. Love the fact it has Agmatine and L-Norvaline for added pump, even though its a Prop blend which is why I haven't given it a higher rating, as I do like to know how much of each ingredient I am consuming.
Loved sipping on this with PS Karbolyn during my work, kept me going and going! Highly recommend.
Decent BCAA blend. Mixes well, tastes OK (both rare qualities for this category). Only reason I didn't rate higher is because of proprietary blend. Tried the lemonade flavour - no complaints about the taste.
Tasted EXACTLY like Hyde Fruit punch...About as refreshing as milk would be.
Profile is decent, though i could say more if it weren't for the pro-blend.Leucine is top though so i can guess it has 2-4g of it.
Does have C-Malate,Beta alanine and Agmatine though again dunno the amount.
Overall there is better out there, better tasting and better profiles.
Cheers xplosiv/suppreviews for the sample!
This was the fruit punch flavour but it was seriously pretty awful to drink. There are so many decent tasting BCAA formulas out there it does make you wonder how they miss the mark? Well, to play devils advocate here, it's not necessarily a bad thing. Why? Many of the ingredients in the formula simply cannot be masked. This does pack quite a long list of goodies, so I'm actually willing to let it slide.
With so many aminos on the market it's hard to choose which to choose. For me, the standouts here are the 2g glutamine, and the addition of agmatine. The main amino matrix is hidden in a proprietary blend but Leucine is first which is usually a good sign. Most of the others you'd be getting from your PWO anyway.
No problems mixing.
Currently $64 for 30 servings on xplosivsupplements.co.nz which is fairly average by todays standards, however the 2g of Glutamine makes this just a little more worth it for me. Whether you believe glutamine is beneficial for muscle growth / repair (a lot of people don't) or just gut health / immunity, it really is a good package deal.
Thanks xplosiv / supplementreviews.co.nz for the sample.
Tried the fruit punch as it was the sample I had.. It was okay, a little bit odd flavouring..
But the lemonade tastes slightly better than the musclepharm lemon.
As for formula it's hard to say as you can't tell how much aminos are in it, but the other stuff like the magnesium and vitamins is good.
